  Strong coffee and decent service, otherwise completely spoiled by the presence of one particularly foul-mouthed and unsanitary waitress "Ashley" whose perennially negative attitude and tobacco-tainted reek serve to turn the stomach of even the hardiest regular patrons.

  The service at Ocean Coffee Roasters was atrocious, we didn't get a chance to taste the food. It is difficult enough eating out with a young baby and having food allergies without having it made trickier.
  
  First we asked if we could sit outside, we were told we couldn't as there was no service out there. We we'rent told that there was a takeaway menu.
  
  I noticed that there was a takeaway menu, so we ordered a sausage muffin, without egg due to allergy, along with some drinks. So far so good.
  
  I then asked for another muffin to be added to the order, The lady seemed rather confused, by this. She then also became inexplicably confused by the drinks order placed between the two muffins.
  
  She took the payment of $13, but then when i got the receipt I noticed that she hadn't added the sausage only muffin. I reminded her that this was the first thing ordered, and was told ' The kitchen wont be able to do that, and it's not in the system'
  
  I explained that I would be happy to pay for a sauage and egg muffin, just leave off the egg, but was told that would not be possible, and was asked if I still wanted the food.
  
  I then had to explain that I wished to enjoy breakfast, with my girlfeind and daughter, outside together, hence why we all ordered together.
  
  She couldn;t seem to grasp this, so I asked to speak to the manager, and explained that we'd just like a muffin without egg due to allergies.
  
  A more uninterested manager I have never experienced, he was downright rude, and told me 'Its a takeaway roll you have to have egg' and walked off. Not really much of an explanation, and I was surprised by the way he'd treat people that visit his establishment with food allergies.
  
  I did get my money returned, and we went around the corner to Empire Tea and Coffee, who were a class, nay, several classes apart on customer service, not only were they much more accommodating, the fantastic chef made sure not the slightest bit of egg went near the bagel.
